Huawei has presented its own competitor to the iMac, which is also designed as an all-in-one computer and primarily wants to impress with its display. In terms of other hardware, the Huawei MateStation X can also be seen.

Huawei MateStation X: new competition for iMacs

At an event in China, Huawei presented the MateStation X, which would like to present itself as a possible alternative to Apple's iMac . Both the chic design and the equipment are impressive. The screen of the Huawei MateStation X has a diagonal of 28.2 inches in a 3-by-2 format. The resolution is 3,840 x 2,560 pixels and the brightness is up to 500 nits. According to the manufacturer, the IPS panel can display 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space with a contrast ratio of 1,200 to 1. Externally, the MateStation X is strongly reminiscent of the MateView monitor from Huawei. The case is made of aluminum and the edges are much narrower than the Apple iMac (2021). The equipment does not promise absolute top performance , but in many cases it should be more than sufficient.
