Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: is the camera likely to be disappointed?
Anyone who had hoped that Samsung would again show off with the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have to be prepared for a disappointment. At least when it comes to the camera, the South Koreans leave everything as it is. For another series of Samsung devices, the signs are also pointing to farewell.
According to South Korean media reports, Samsung has finalized the technical specifications of the new Galaxy S22 series (source: The Elec). In November, the trio consisting of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra will go into mass production. The market launch should take place in January 2022 and thus be based on the release of the predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to have a 108 MP camera sensor
The top model of the smartphone series should not bring any major innovations, at least with the camera. Buyers of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will apparently have to do without Samsung's new 200 MP camera sensor, which the manufacturer recently introduced. A 108 MP sensor should be built into the new top smartphone, just like the predecessor Galaxy S21 Ultra.
There is also talk of a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Overall, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should have a quad camera, of which the main camera and the ultra-wide-angle lens have optical image stabilization (OIS) .
A 40 MP front camera should be available for selfies. At this point, too, the S22 Ultra would be based on the predecessor and not enter into any experiments.

What will happen to the Galaxy Note series?
The S Pen should also celebrate a comeback . That should be another clear indication that Samsung has put the Note series on the sidelines and is not planning a new edition in the coming year. It was only recently announced that the electronics company had not renewed the trademark rights for the range of devices. These are not good signs for the future of the Galaxy Note series.
