Samsung Galaxy S22: Surprising development discovered
Samsung is already working intensively on the successors to the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. Interestingly, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are expected to change more than previously thought. Samsung is supposed to take a step back with the displays.
Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus with smaller displays
Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger. That doesn't suit everyone, especially when they get too big and you don't have a smaller alternative. This is also the case with Samsung. The Galaxy S phones got bigger every year. Now the tide could turn. According to an insider, at least the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus should get smaller displays :
Accordingly, Samsung will install smaller displays in the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus that measure 6.06 and 6.55 inches diagonally . The Galaxy S21 is currently 6.2 inches, the Galaxy S22 Plus even 6.7 inches. Only the S22 Ultra should remain the same size. With this, Samsung wants to increase the difference to the Ultra series.
In addition, Samsung will do without the sub-display camera in the Galaxy S22 series . In our opinion, this is a good decision, because the image quality would not match that of a high-end smartphone. We did a test of the sub-display camera in the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and were disappointed.
Otherwise there should be discussions about the use of the Exynos 2200 processor. Many providers in different countries want this processor instead of the Snapdragon 898 from Qualcomm, as it should be much better in the coming year.
