Google has already made extensive comments on the Pixel 6 and the Pro version. However, some details were left out. That changes a new leak, in which secrets about the camera and display are revealed.
Pixel 6 Pro: Google's new upper class
With the Pixel 6 and especially the Pro version, Google wants to establish itself in the upper class again. Accordingly, well-equipped smartphones can be expected. A new leak makes it clear how much better the cell phones are compared to their predecessors. Much more specific information is now available about the processor, the cameras and the display.
As is known, Google will use a triple camera on the back of the Pixel 6 Pro. Sensors from Samsung and Sony are used here. Also included is Samsung's GN1 sensor, which allows the main camera to take pictures of up to 50 MP. Sony's IMX586 provides 48 MP for the telephoto lens and a four-fold optical zoom. There is also the IMX386 for wide angle (12 MP). Selfies are 12 MP, and a Sony sensor is also used here (source: XDA Developers).
Android 12 is preinstalled on the Pixel 6 (Pro). Everything about it in the video :
Google Pixel 6 Pro: Display with 120 Hertz
The display of the Pixel 6 Pro has a refresh rate of 120 Hertz , which remains switched on even at the highest possible resolution (3,120 x 1,440 pixels). To what extent it is a completely variable frequency has not yet been clarified. The leakers speak of several levels that can go down to 10 Hertz.
Active Edge is not supported, so the phone frame cannot be pressed to access the Google Assistant. Reverse wireless charging is included.
Google's first own smartphone processor is supported by 12 GB of RAM in the Pixel 6 Pro. However, the first benchmark results are sobering, although these should be treated with caution, as always.
