Huawei overtaken: China manufacturer slowly climbs smartphone market
Huawei has already been overtaken by Xiaomi and Apple. Another smartphone manufacturer is now following, and is setting out to conquer the smartphone market bit by bit. Realme is still relatively unknown in Germany. That will change soon.
Huawei no longer among the top 6 smartphone manufacturers
Exactly how bad is things going for Huawei at the moment? The company itself does not give exact sales figures for smartphones and often no longer appears in the top lists of various analysts. The Huawei cell phones must lie like lead on the shelves . Realme has now published a press release and proudly announced that in the 2nd quarter of 2021 it has already landed on the 6th place of the largest smartphone manufacturers worldwide. What do you notice? Huawei is missing:
In first place, of course, comes Samsung. Closely followed by Xiaomi in second place and Apple in third place. Then there are Oppo and Vivo. Realme is new in sixth place with 15 million smartphones and the greatest growth in the group of the top 6. This means, conversely, that Huawei did not even sell 15 million smartphones in the second quarter of 2021.
Basically all other smartphone manufacturers benefit from this. Samsung has only made very little gains at 6.3 percent. Xiaomi's sales are exploding with almost 100 percent growth. The Chinese company doesn't want to become the market leader for three years, but according to the new figures, that could happen much sooner.

Huawei can't solve problems
For Huawei, there is currently no way to increase sales again . The Chinese company has developed an interesting operating system with HarmonyOS, but without Google apps and services or 5G modems for China, you simply have no chance on the world market. The competition is too strong to be able to counteract this.
