So far it looked like Samsung simply supported the S Pen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The pen cannot be pushed into the housing. This is exactly what should change with the Galaxy S22 Ultra (source: Weibo). So Samsung is really serious about the S series becoming the Note series - at least when it comes to the Ultra model.

The integration of the S Pen in the Galaxy S22 Ultra should also have an impact on the design of the entire smartphone. While the previous generation of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is rather rounded, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should be significantly more angular and be reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In the end it has to be, because this is the only way the S Pen can really be pushed into the side of the housing. In addition, the aspect ratio of the screen should change from 20: 9 to 19.3: 9. So the smartphone is getting a little wider.

The new construction should not have any effect on the capacity of the battery . The Galaxy S22 Ultra should continue to be equipped with a 5,000 mAh energy storage device. This would mean that the battery would be even larger than that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, where a 4,500 mAh battery is installed.
