{Disarmed} The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro overwhelm us with their ultra-fast charge and heart-stopping specifications
Last year they democratized 144 Hz. This year the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro - which lose the traditional intermediate "Mi" - lower that refresh rate a bit to 120 Hz, but above all they want to conquer us with their overwhelming loading speeds .
We are facing two twin phones that are identical in format, dimensions and even set of cameras. The differences are mainly in their processors and in those loading speeds , which are spectacular in the 11T Pro but are also fantastic in the 11T.

A design in which the camera module that remains bulky
The design of the new Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro continues to drink from its predecessors, but here the camera module changes significantly . It is more cumbersome than that of the Xiaomi 11 - which we found especially discreet and elegant -, for example, but it certainly does not reach the enormous dimensions of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra .
On the front - flat screen, by the way, protected with a Gorilla Glass Victus - we have reduced but clearly visible frames (especially on its small chin), while at the top we find the hole that allows us to have the front camera.
In xiaomist.com Understanding the Xiaomi mobile mess: a bit of order in the wide (and chaotic) Xiaomi catalog in SpainAt the back, as we said, that camera module dominates everything, and the thickness of a camera module that actually has two steps is especially noteworthy : the first for the area where the flash is located, and the second, even higher, to protect the three sensors that make up Xiaomi's bet.
That design is shared by both models, which have exactly the same dimensions and almost identical weight: the Xiaomi 11T is one gram lighter than its older brother.
This is about super fast loading
The bet of these two new Xiaomi flagships changes here in their way of differentiating both models. In the past we saw how manufacturers normally dedicate the Pro surname to mobiles with better cameras , but in these two smartphones the set of cameras is exactly the same.
Thus, we have a main sensor of 108 Mpixels f / 1.75 , which is accompanied by an ultra-wide angle of 8 Mpixels f / 2.2 and a telemacro of 5 Mpixels f / 2.4.
In xiaomist.com Xiaomi Mi 11, analysis: it is not necessary to reach 1,000 euros to be a worthy high-end competitorThis trio is as we say the one used in both mobiles, but although the bet on rear cameras is identical in the Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro, what does change is the front camera, which is 20 Mpixels f / 2.5 in the Pro model and curiously 16 Mpixels f / 2.45 in the normal model .
Both mobiles also share the same screen, with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that supports refresh rates of up to 120 Hz. Here Xiaomi seems to have decided to lower the revolutions a bit , since the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10 Pro of the year past they reached 144 Hz.
Where things really change is in two relevant areas. The first, the chip used, which in the Xiaomi 11T is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra and in the Xiaomi 11T Pro it is a Snapdragon 888 . The latter is therefore significantly more powerful (we will see if it is also more efficient), and of course it raises that "performance bonus" that will surely attract the most demanding users in this case.
The second is the fundamental argument of these new mobiles: their fast charging system, which reaches up to 120 W in the Xiaomi 11T Pro . The Xiaomi 11T does not fall short with its load at 67 watts, but logically the figure reached by its older brother is especially striking. In both cases the adapter to take full advantage of this facet is included.
In fact, it allows this model to charge its 5,000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes (36 minutes in the 67W 11T), say its managers, an absolutely dizzying time. This ultra-fast charge does not punish the battery too severely , and Xiaomi assures that after 800 full charge cycles the battery will maintain at least 80% of its original charge.
There are some other small differences that may also be interesting for certain users: in the Xiaomi 11T Pro we have speakers calibrated by Harman Kardon , and also thanks to the Snapdragon 888 it is possible to record video in 8K, something that is not available in the Xiaomi 11T.
