{Disarmed} WhatsApp: This is what the emoji reactions look like

At the end of August, it was reported that WhatsApp was also planning emoji reactions to messages. This feature is already known from Facebook, where you can react quickly to a message with an emoji, for example. It doesn't seem to be long before WhatsApp will also roll out the Fetaure.

Now a first picture has appeared of what the emoji reactions will look like on Messenger. You should really be able to react to a message with every emoji available on WhatsApp. And a selection of the submitted reactions and a total number are displayed at a glance.

As you can see, there are 7 reactions to this message. The responses are not anonymous, so anyone in the conversation can see who responded to a particular message. The screenshot shows the version of WhatsApp for iOS, but the feature should of course also be available in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android.

It is not yet known when the new feature will be available on WhatsApp. Sometimes it happens quickly, but sometimes the developers take several weeks and months to roll out a new feature. We'll wait and see.
