Samsung released One UI 3.1.1 along with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 and added many enhancements to its foldable devices such as: B. the improved Flex mode, Drag and Split and the new taskbar. Fortunately, One UI 3.1.1 is now available for all foldable devices from Samsung, including the models before the Fold 3 and Flip 3.

And it gets even better, because some of these optimizations for the foldable devices are also finding their way to the conventional smartphones from Samsung. The updates have already arrived on the Samsung Galaxy S21 series , and other models will follow.

Late last month, Samsung announced that the original Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G would receive One UI 3.1.1 in the coming weeks. The update has already arrived on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, the distribution is also running on the others.

While devices like the Galaxy S21 have already received the update to One UI 3.1.1, One UI 3.1 is still displayed in the settings. This makes checking whether you have the new version more difficult than usual. The simplest method is to find the switch for bedtime mode in the quick settings.

In the next few weeks, many more Samsung models are likely to get features of One UI 3.1.1, even if you won't see that in the settings.
