{Disarmed} Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra should get more powerful Exynos 2200
A new leak now claims to have the official details of the Samsung Exynos 2200 ready for us. The leak essentially confirms a significantly better performance than the Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100, thanks to a new Cortex X2 super core.
At the beginning of the week , a Geekbench listing gave a foretaste of the upcoming Exynos 2200. The first details about the new Samsung flagship SoC were already revealed there. The new leak, however, reveals a little more.
The Exynos 2200 will use a tri-cluster of cores. A single Cortex-X2 core clocked at 2.9 GHz will provide the necessary performance. In addition to the X2 core, three Cortex A710 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and four Cortex A510 cores designed for efficiency and clocked at 2.2 GHz are expected. The integrated AMD mRDNA GPU is specified with 1250 MHz.
While previous leaks showed lower clock speeds, these couldn't be wrong either. According to Ice Universe, this version of the Exynos 2200 could be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, this would mean that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + would have lower performance.
