{Disarmed} Samsung Galaxy M52 5G officially presented
Samsung has quietly presented the Galaxy M52 5G, a new mid-range phone based on the Galaxy A52s. The device appeared on the Polish website of Samsung, an official announcement is pending.
The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has a 6.7 ″ AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The centrally located punch hole at the top of the display houses the 32 MP selfie camera.
Samsung's latest mid-range model seems to have the same 6nm Snapdragon 778G chipset under the hood as the Galaxy A52s, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It has a triple camera installed on the back, with a 64 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 5 MP macro lens.
The phone also has a large 5,000 mAh battery with 25 watts of quick charge, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port, a microSD card slot and Dolby Atmos support. Surprisingly, however, the phone doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G runs Android 11 with Samsung One UI 3.1. The mid-range cell phone is also expected to receive Android updates for three years and security updates for four years. The Galaxy M52 5G is expected to go on sale in Europe from September 28th. Unfortunately there is no information about the price yet.
