{Disarmed} Samsung explains the details of the September 2021 security patch
It's been over a week since Samsung started distributing the September 2021 security patch to the first devices. Now Samsung has also explained in detail what the latest security patch fixes.
After most of its major devices have already received the update, the company has now released the details of its security update for September 2021. Unsurprisingly, dozens of vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung's own software, One UI, are being fixed.
The patches from Google and Samsung are bundled in this latest update. Google has fixed three critical vulnerabilities in its Android operating system as well as dozen of high and medium risk vulnerabilities.
This patch also includes fixes for 23 Samsung vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities. These are security flaws that have been found in Samsung's own software. One of these vulnerabilities allowed improper access control in Bluetooth APIs, which allowed untrusted applications to obtain Bluetooth information.
