{Disarmed} Pixel Fold: Concept shows realistic design for Google s first foldable [video]
A new Google Pixel Fold concept has now appeared on YouTube. This design Waqar Khan, a well-known designer. The new concept looks quite realistic, as it adopts many design elements of the upcoming Pixel 6 series from Google.
The Pixel Fold looks essentially like a foldable Pixel 6. Bonds from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 can also be found. You can see a device that can be opened like a book and has two displays, a foldable and a smaller cover on the outside. Similar to what Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold range has to offer.
Glass and metal seem to be intended as building materials for the device here. Google will likely opt for these materials as well when it commissions its first foldable smartphone.
The launch of Google's first foldable smartphone could be closer than you think. It was originally rumored that the device would be launched alongside the Pixel 6, but we may have to wait a little longer. Nevertheless, the device is still expected in 2021.
Google could announce the launch of the model during the Pixel 6 launch event, which is expected to take place on October 19th .
