{Disarmed} Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: FCC certification confirms Wi-Fi 6E
Three new Google devices have just popped up at the FCC, and based on the details, it looks like they're likely versions of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. All are classified as "phones", and one model has mmWave 5G paired with Wi-Fi 6E support, while the other two models do sub-6GHz 5G and 6E.
The device with the model number A4RG9S9B (model name G9S9B) is likely to be the Pixel 6 Pro, while the model number A4RGB7N6 (model names GB7N6 and GR1YH) is likely to be the Pixel 6. Since two model names have appeared, it is likely that these are regional variants of the Pixel 6.
GR1YH was previously associated with the "Oriole" hardware name for the Pixel 6 during development, so that it can now be assumed that Oriole is the Pixel 6 and accordingly the long code name Raven can be assigned to the Pixel 6 Pro is.
All three models that popped up at the FCC today support Wi-Fi 6E, which means they should work with the brand new 6 GHz Wi-Fi hardware, for which the hardware only launched earlier this year .
