The new Razer Basilisk V3 is full of lights, but it is its central wheel that makes it interesting, and not only for gamers

It looks like a very gaming mouse, but the Razer Basilisk V3 comes with important changes that could also appeal to a much more general audience.

The most relevant of these changes for this new version of this device is in the mouse wheel, which now allows to act in two different ways , something that we had already seen for example in the fantastic MX Master and that offers an infinite scroll mode that it is especially attractive to those who love to scroll vertically through all kinds of documents and websites.

A wheel that turns a gaming mouse into a very useful one for browsing

The new Basilisk V3 integrates a new scroll wheel with Razer HyperScroll technology . With it, it is possible to access three modes : the first two are touch scrolling (more precision and granular control) and free spin (which automatically detects if we want to spin the wheel faster).

The third is the most interesting: it is the free spin scrolling , which is that perfect infinite scroll mode to navigate quickly and therefore also orients this model to professional users and not so gamers (or who use the same mouse for both scenarios).

The new Razer mouse, which is wired and connects via the USB-A port, has a set of 10 programmable buttons to which is added another customizable profile switch button under the mouse. With these buttons it is possible to configure quick access to all kinds of game functions.

There are also major changes to the lighting system, which now features 11 differentiated Razer Chroma zones and a brightness that extends across the entire bottom.

Inside we have the Razer Focus + optical sensor with up to 26,000 DPI , and it has smart functions such as the so-called "Asymmetric Cut-Off" that allows users to customize their mouse hover and landing distance when moving it on any surface.

The Razer Basilisk V3 is now available, and its recommended price is 79.99 euros .
