JBL Reflect Flow Pro: sports headphones that don't sacrifice ANC

Jbl2 JBL Reflect Flow Pro.

The first headphones that concern us today are the JBL Reflect Flow Pro, which are an evolution of the JBL Reflect Flow . As such, they are headphones designed for sports users, something that is reflected in their design and in the bridge of the upper area whose objective is to better fix the headphones to our ear.

More interesting aspects of its construction are the six microphones , three in each earpiece (two bidirectional and one to suppress the noise of the wind), thought to improve the clarity of the voice in calls; as well as IP68 resistance. Thanks to this, the headphones can be used in the rain or while sweating.

On the other hand, something that should also be noted is the active noise cancellation . It is not a feature that is often seen in TWS headphones, but they do incorporate it. How could it be otherwise, they also have an ambient mode so that we can listen to our surroundings while wearing them.

As for the sound, they mount a 6.8 mm dynamic driver with JBL Signature Sound . The sound can also be modified through the smartphone app. They use Bluetooth 5.0, have a dual connection, Google Fast Pair and are compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa. In the case of the first, it can be invoked directly by saying "Hey Google".

Finally, it is necessary to talk about the battery. This section is one of the Achilles heels of the TWS headphones and that is precisely why it is striking that JBL promises up to eight hours of autonomy with the ANC activated . Without it, the autonomy amounts to ten hours. If we consider the charging case, we aim for a maximum of 20 hours of playback.

Jbl5 JBL Tune 230NC.

The other two devices that JBL has announced today have been the JBL Tune 230NC and JBL Tune 130NC. The first of them are more compact TWS headphones, while the others are somewhat larger, which has allowed JBL to put in a larger dynamic driver: that of the Tune 230NC is 5.8 mm and that of the Tune 130NC is 10 millimeters , both with improved bass reproduction.

For the rest, both devices share a large part of the specifications and even the price. So they have four microphones, active noise cancellation , ambient mode, IPX4 certification, integration with voice assistants (but not voice activation for Google Assistant), Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.2.

Like previous models, these two headphones stand out for their autonomy. With noise cancellation activated they promise up to eight hours of music , 24 hours if we take into account the charge of the case. With this function deactivated, the autonomy goes up to 10 hours with the charge of the headphones and up to 40 hours with that of the case.

JBL Tune 230NC, JBL Tune 130NC and JBL Reflect Flow Pro versions and prices

The JBL Reflect Flow Pro will be launched throughout September for 179.99 euros. They will be available in black, blue, white and pink. The JBL Tune 230NC and Tune 130NC , meanwhile, will arrive in October for 99.99 euros. The former will be available in black, white, blue and sand, while the latter will be available in black, white and blue.
