{Disarmed} Google with unusual Pixel 6 (Pro) advertisement in Japan
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro come with a Tensor SoC, Google's first in-house chip. In the run-up to the official launch, Google has now started an advertising campaign for potato chips. Google will be giving away 10,000 bags, all based on the Pixel 6 series color schemes.
Google announced it would do a lot more to promote the Pixel 6 series as the company barely advertised the past Nexus and Pixel smartphones compared to Apple and Samsung. Now, Google Japan has launched a potato chip-based campaign to promote the company's first in-house chip, Tensor.
Google Japan is giving away 10,000 bags of "Googley Salty Flavor" potato chips to all who register. The related website emphasizes that Google designed each bag to represent a color from the Pixel 6 series.
The new commercial has already received a lot of views on YouTube. Google has also started sponsoring television shows in the UK. Unfortunately, it is still unclear when exactly Google will release the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
