The best GCam you can install on the Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi has done a great job when it comes to photography. An example of this is the 108MP sensor that we find in the Redmi Note 10 Pro , a fairly versatile camera, which also greatly improves if we use the appropriate GCam .

Although, Xiaomi has done a great job at the software level with the camera of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, if we use the Google camera we will not only obtain better shadow dynamics , but also greater luminosity in night scenes.

Likewise, the GCam gives the Redmi Note 10 Pro camera a better level of texture in photographs . In this way it becomes the perfect alternative for certain scenarios to the camera itself that includes MIUI.

The best GCam for the Redmi Note 10 Pro

Although today there is a great variety of versions for the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the truth is that the GCam 8.1 stands out above the rest . We are talking about the version developed by BSG that you can download from this link .

As you can see in the analysis of our colleague TecnoPhonePro , using the GCam in the Redmi Note 10 Pro makes a difference in many aspects , especially at the level of textures, lightness and shadows in general.

Of course, the native MIUI camera is still better when it comes to zooming, as well as video recording . That is why GCam cannot replace it, but rather become the best alternative depending on the type of photography we want to take.

If you know of any other version with good results, we encourage you to comment on it in the comment box that you will find at the end of this article.

  1. 8.1 and 8.2 video stabilization doesn't work on redmi note 10 pro. 7.3 versions no 60 FPS as it just crash's. Stock camera is better than any gcam I've tried. Even astrophography not as good as flash night stock camera, so gcam no use in any situation.

  2. My experience of gcam 8.1 is that it is better in low light and medium light shots (grey skies or indoors). However I use the 108mp stock cam non-binned mode for strong light conditions. In sunny conditions HDR is less important and the small pixels will get enough light without binning. The results are usually less vibrant and lower HDR than gcam but much more accurate. Obviously they are higher resolution too. The 108mp shots are also (in my experience) less than 12mb in size so can be uploaded to social media with ease.
