Xiaomi Roborock has launched its latest robotic vacuum cleaner at CES called the Roborock S7. The biggest change of this vacuum cleaner is in its mapping section, which is now equipped with sonic mapping. This new cleaner vibrates at a frequency of 50 Hz up to 3,000 times per minute, allowing the vacuum cleaner to wash the floor and not just slipping on the floor like previous models. With its new cleaning function, it should be much more efficient for dry and hard stains and surface cleaning.
The map can also be raised 5 mm to prevent dirt streaks on the ground. Another added feature is the hairless all-rubber brush.
This device can detect carpets through a dedicated ultrasonic carpet detection sensor, so it automatically raises the map to prevent the carpets from getting wet. This robotic vacuum cleaner with suction of 2500 Pa can clean the room and other parts of the house. The new S7 no longer has the same cameras as last year's S6 MaxV and relies solely on LiDAR sensors for navigation.
Its garbage can has a capacity of 470 ml, while its tank holds up to 300 ml of water. The 5200 mAh battery of this device guarantees 3 hours of automatic cleaning in silent mode and cleaning with low water flow. All controls are done via Roborock or Mi Home. The company also promotes an automatic drain dump that empties the trash can for you, and is compatible with some older Roborock models.
The Roborock S7 robotic vacuum cleaner will be available in white and black for $ 649 and will go on sale in the United States on March 24.
