Official: Android 11 update is coming to more Xiaomi phones

Xiaomi has been distributing the Android 11 update to some of its phones for some time. The Xiaomi Mi 10 series has already received the update, but so has the Redmi K30 series. The Poco F2 Pro recently received the update in Europe.

According to Manu Kumar, Xiaomi Global VP, and MD Xiaomi India, the company will roll out the Android 11 update to more Mi and Redmi phones. But there is still no time frame when the respective updates will be distributed.

There will be betas for many models before there will be the final Android 11 update. This also shows that with many models it can still take a long time before something is rolled out.

However, some of the phones in question could get the Android 11 update even with MIUI 12.5, which development is expected to start next week.
