Samsung Galaxy S21 with Snapdragon 875 beats Exynos model in comparison

The Samsung Galaxy S21 + with the Exynos 2100 SoC showed itself in the benchmark almost two months ago . Now the model variant of the Galaxy S21 SM-G996U has appeared in Geekbench.

Now the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 with the SD875 shows up in the benchmark. The model with 8 GB of RAM can be seen there.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 875 SoC has not yet been officially presented, but it should be ready on December 1st . The chipset is expected to have a tri-cluster CPU configuration with a single high-performance X1 core, three Cortex-A78 cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores. And an Adreno 660 GPU, as the Geekbench entry now shows.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 with the model number SM-G996U seems to be a little better in the benchmark than the Exynos alternative. The model now achieved 1,120 points in the single-core test and 3,319 points in the multi-core test.

In contrast, the Exynos 2100-powered model had previously scored 1,038 and 3,060 points, respectively. This suggests that the Qualcomm SoC will again offer better performance compared to Samsung's own chipset.

However, it will still take a few weeks before the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be presented. And of course there will be further optimizations until then. And who knows what the results will look like then.
