OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro Android 11 Beta 4 available
OnePlus has started distributing the Open Beta 4 of its Android variant OxygenOS 11 for the OnePlus 8 series.
It's not a huge update unlike the previous Open Beta 3, it brings the latest Google security patches and a number of welcome bug fixes to the system.
The November 2020 patch is on board. There are "tweaks" to various features including stability during the call, system power consumption, and the experience of apps when working in split screen.
Bug fixes include dropped frames when dragging the status bar down while gaming, occasional NFC errors, a frustrating bug that prevented some Play Store downloads from installing, and a fix for lag issues some with MX Player occurred.
