Xiaomi is launching a cheaper version of Xiaomi's three generations of wireless. This model is called Mi Walkie Talkie Lite and is priced at 129 yuan ($ 18). The lite version is an abbreviated version of Xiaomi Wireless, first released in 2017. Since then, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Walkie Talkie 1s and Mi Walkie Talkie 2 in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Xiaomi Wireless Lite has 3W transmission power, range 1-5 km in open environment and 1-3 km in urban environment. This device has a 2000 mAh battery with a standby time of up to 5 days. This battery also supports continuous use for 10 hours. This feature is in contrast to the 6 km and 13 days range of 2 Mejia wireless standby mode.
The total weight of the device is only 163 grams and it has a sleek, strong and scratch-resistant design. It is wireless, portable and easy to use and has a back clip for fast connection. Its large 40mm diameter speaker has a 23% larger audio field radiation area than traditional 36mm wireless. Input sound is more permeable and can ensure good contact in noisy environments.
Xiaomi Wireless Lite can set up with Meiji app to select frequency, backup frequency information, and turn on buttonless calls, saying goodbye to traditional hassle-free operations.
Once the wireless is in pairing mode, 16 wireless frequency channels can be copied simultaneously to other nearby wireless devices in receiving mode, which distributes the frequencies one at a time.
The Mi Walkie Talkie Lite is currently available through Xiaomi youpin in China.
