After various rumors and appearances on AliExpress, the new Amazfit Band 5 is now official, a new wearable manufactured by Huami that is positioned as the best alternative to the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 thanks to its more complete features.
And it is that, although it costs us to say it, the new Amazfit Band 5 turns out to have everything that we would like to have seen in the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 itself ; better autonomy, Alexa as voice assistant and blood oxygen saturation meter.
Beyond these news and improvements compared to the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, the new Amazfit Band 5 has a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen , an improved heart sensor, PAI meter, sports monitoring, stress control and menstrual cycle control.
In addition, its weight is quite light, with just 11.9 grams despite having an improved battery capable of offering up to 15 days of autonomy with all sensors activated and 25 days if we activate its energy saving mode .
For the rest, the Amazfit Band 5 has a 5ATM certification that will allow us to take it swimming without running any risk and allows it to be synchronized with Android or iOS devices through the Zepp application (old Amazfit).
At the moment, the Amazfit Band 5 will debut in the United States at a price of 45 dollars, which would be about 38 euros and will do so this next September 21 . It will be necessary to see if it ends up reaching the rest of the countries, including Spain.
