Tesla is building a huge new supercharger station that will likely become the new largest station on Tesla's network worldwide.
As Tesla's fleet is growing rapidly, the automaker is trying to maintain and expand its infrastructure, such as service centers, mobile service fleet, and charging infrastructure.
The latter consists mainly of the Supercharger network, which is arguably one of Tesla's greatest assets. The network's growth slowed last year when Tesla ramped up production of the Version 3 compressor.
Now, Tesla appears to have accelerated the deployment of the Supercharger, and a massive new Supercharger is under construction. A Tesla owner discovered a large new compressor station in Firebaugh, California:
According to forms submitted to the Fresno County Planning Department, the charging station will have 56 Supercharger booths.
Tesla has some charging stations with 50 charging stations in China. But with 56 stations, this new one would likely become Tesla's new largest supercharger station in the world.
