Huawei is currently preparing to launch EMUI 11, and ahead of that launch, the Huawei P40 Pro has now received its WiFi certificate with EMUI 11 on board as one of the first devices to be considered for launch.
Last month, a Huawei phone with EMUI 11 firmware and model name ELS-N04 (P40 Pro) received Wi-Fi 6 certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Huawei will introduce EMUI 11 on September 10th at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020 and it will be launched along with HarmonyOS and HMS Core 5.0.
Following the launch, Huawei will open the internal beta for the Huawei P40 series with limited testers. The Huawei Mate 40 series will be the first to appear with this latest EMUI version.
According to previous information, EMUI 11 will contain many new changes in the Always-on-Display (AOD) design, multi-window multitasking and other interesting features.
