Corona is throwing MCU phase 4 into a mess, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals postponed again
For the first time since 2009, there won't be a new MCU movie this year. Because Black Widow has been postponed again, now to spring 2021.
There is a new Marvel schedule for the MCU Phase 4. There are more postponements coming. And Corona does not stop at the most successful franchise of the last 10 years.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe will only initiate phase 4 on May 7, 2021 with Black Widow (actually planned for April 30, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will follow on July 9, 2021 (actually for April 29, 2021) and Eternals will be in theaters on November 5, 2021 (actually planned for February 11, 2021). If the pandemic has ended by then.
All other films that Marvel had planned for 2021 are also likely to be postponed. Disney has not yet commented on this. But there was still a lot in the pipeline.
There are still no references to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man 3 and Thor Love and Thunder.
