Yesterday Xiaomi confirmed to have completed its second batch of updates to MIUI 12 , a second phase in which the latest version of MIUI has reached terminals such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2S and some others such as the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
In itself, this second phase refers to the MIUI Chinese ROM , so after completion it would be expected that all those global devices located in this same batch would finish updating, that is, the Mi Note 10, Mi 9 Lite, Mi 9 SE, Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7.
In turn, once this second batch is finished, Xiaomi has started the third and final phase of updating to MIUI 12 , a new stage that will continue over the next few months and in which the following terminals will be updated:
- Xiaomi CC9e
- Xiaomi Mi Note 3
- Xiaomi Mi Max 3
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 SE
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
- Xiaomi Mi 6X
- Redmi Note 8 and Note 8T
- Redmi 8A
- Redmi 7 and 7A
- Redmi Note 6 Pro
- Redmi 6 and 6A
- Redmi Note 5

As we can see, the list is quite expanding, including terminals as important as the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T or even a large part of the Mi 8 Series, among which we find the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE .
As we said, this third phase begins for MIUI 12 Chinese ROM , that is why once the update arrives on some of these devices it will be a matter of weeks or in the case of a few months, see this same update in the version MIUI Global 12.
