The Huawei Mate 40 series is not expected to hit the market until late September. But before that, Huawei will host another product event.
The event is scheduled for September 10th. A poster that appears already shows the products that are being announced. It is also the same date that the 2020 Huawei Developer Conference is set to begin.
As you can see on the poster @ RODENT950 posted on Twitter, there are three pictures. The first is a notebook with an X, the second a clock face, and the third a sound wave. The first indications point to a new MateBook X from Huawei. It could be the models with AMD Ryzen processors.
The second is a watch dial and is a teaser for a smartwatch. Huawei has two new smartwatches in the pipeline - the Huawei Watch Fit and the Watch GT 2 Pro. Previous reports have indicated that the former will be announced in September, while the latter will be launched alongside the Huawei Mate 40 series.
The third image, representing a sound wave, suggests the launch of a new audio product, most likely a speaker with a built-in assistant. There's also the possibility that it might be the launch of the FreeGo Portable Bluetooth Speaker, which was first unveiled in June.
