Xiaomi Black Shark 3S officially launched

Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Black Shark 3S. However, the surprises are limited.

In the new Xiaomi Black Shark 3S there seems to be only one change compared to the Black Shark 3, the display now supports 120 Hz, previously it was 90 Hz. The memory is now only 12 GB LPDDR5-RAM, which is the internal memory now up to 512 GB in size.

What is surprising, however, is that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is still used and not the SD865 +. This is really a little incomprehensible.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 3S is built with a 6.67 ″ AMOLED FullHD + display with 120 Hz and HDR10 +. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 works inside, which is supported by 12 GB LPDDR5-RAM. There is also 128 GB / 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

On the back is a triple camera with 64 MP (wide angle) + 13 MP (ultra wide angle) +5 MP (depth sensor), on the front a 20 MP selfie camera.

Then there is a 4,720 mAh battery with 65 watts quick charge. Android 10 with Joy UI 12 is used as the operating system. 5G and WiFi 6 as well as stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm jack are also included.

In China, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3S costs the equivalent of EUR 485.00 for the 128 GB version, EUR 520.00 for the 256 GB model and the 512 GB model is available for the equivalent of EUR 580.00.
