Has Samsung started working on the Android 11 update for the Galaxy S20 series?

Is Samsung already working on the Android 11 update for the Galaxy S20 series? A member of the xda developer community noticed that Android 11 is mentioned on Samsung's official firmware version tracker as the latest OS version for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Even if there is no evidence at the moment, it would not be surprising if Samsung is already testing Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 series. It was about the same time last year that Samsung started working on the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 series.

The bigger question is: When will Samsung release a beta program that allows Galaxy S20 owners to test Android 11? It could take a few more months for this to happen. Google is currently testing Android 11 as a beta, and Samsung is unlikely to launch a beta program before the first stable version of Android 11.

However, Google has not yet said when it will make Android 11 publicly available. But there is September 8 as a possible date. Android 11 at Samsung will be accompanied by the One UI 3.0.
