Xiaomi launches the first beta of MIUI 12 based on Android 11 for two of its devices
To the surprise, Xiaomi has started to roll out the first Android 11-based MIUI 12 update for two of its devices. A new approach to the latest version of Google's operating system that arrives in beta form for MIUI's Chinese ROM.
Although not more than a few weeks ago and thanks to the Treble program, users of the Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and POCO F2 Pro began to be able to install Beta 1 of Android 11, now Xiaomi has begun to deploy the first own beta of MIUI 12, based on this latest big Android update.
In detail, this first beta of MIUI 12 with Android 11 arrives in a rather limited way and therefore privately for the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro .
The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be the first to receive Android 11
With this, Xiaomi makes it clear that the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be the first, from its extensive list of smartphones, to receive Android 11. That if, as we said, it is a fairly early version that containing the following errors will take long enough to see its first stable version:
- Failure to display the status bar.
- The camera's night mode is completely unusable
- XiaoAI's performance is unstable.
- The long screen capture function stops working.
- Other minor functionalities of MIUI 12 stop working temporarily.
In short, a great step by Xiaomi but only accessible to expert users who know what they are exposed to after the installation of this type of betas. Don't forget that the main objective of these versions is to detect the main flaws in order to be able to solve them in their great majority.
