BOE was discussed as a cheaper alternative to the Samsung Display OLED screens. These displays should be installed in some models of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series next year. Now, however, it is said that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer will continue to use OLED panels from Samsung Display.

A report from South Korea states that the OLED displays from the Chinese company BOE failed the Samsung test process. Apparently, BOE's OLED displays failed the first test phase of the South Korean manufacturer. The DSCC had previously reported that BOE intended to supply 6.67 ″ OLED panels to Samsung. But that doesn't seem to happen anymore.
