The new package includes not seven, but eight plugins. These are: Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Dfine, HDR Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro, Viveza and new in the form of Perspective Efex.

The new Perspective Efex plugin is responsible for correcting perspective and applying artificial depth of field. It also has the function of correcting the distortion of specific lenses. In the case of ultra wide-angle lenses, the lens profiles created by DxO mean that objects at the edges stop being stretched.

In turn, the whole old guard is a well-known tool. Analog Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro are plugins responsible for changing the tone and color. There are dozens of really fantastic presets in them. The first tries to replicate the nature of analog photos, while the second offers complete freedom.

Silver Efex Pro is a real gem for transforming color photos into black and white. The effects achieved in this plugin are sensational. We have color filters here so you can change the nature of your photos.

HDR Efex Pro plugin that allows you to create and edit HDR photos. Sharpener Pro is used to sharpen photos after editing, with a view to the medium and size in which they will be shown. Dfine is another typical tool plug for de-noise.

Viveza stands out from the rest because it is in fact a tool for advanced photo editing. The layout of the plugin resembles Lightroom, but it differs from it by the checkpoint mechanism, which is a tool for local editing. It is a sensational mechanism that saves time when selecting a given area for editing.

The new Nik Software 3 package also has many improvements in operation.

DxO filters can again be used as plugins for Photoshop, Lightroom and DxO PhotoLab, as well as as completely separate applications for Windows and Mac.

In the case of Photoshop, the interface has changed completely, because now the panel with plugins is very minimalistic. What's more, the panel allows you to put on your favorite presets without having to open the plugin. The whole is also lighter and faster.

We will pay $ 99 for the entire package of plugins by the end of June. The regular price will later be $ 149. A lot? Not completely. It's a lifetime license purchase, with 8 great plugins. It is a pity that DxO still has not decided to sell individual plugins separately.
