Water and dust resistant QLED TV. After all, we all dreamed of home cinema on the terrace
Samsung The Terrace is the latest idea of the Korean manufacturer to stand out from the crowd. A properly secured TV can be used for video games, movies, matches and series also in our garden.
Samsung continues to surprise with the form of its TVs. After the imitative image of The Frame , a decorative Serif and Sero with a display rotating for portrait recordings from the phone, the time has come for another oddity - The Terrace. Especially since this madness is not only a method, but also potentially - at least for some - quite high utility.
Samsung The Terrace is, as its name suggests, a TV designed to hang on the terrace. Available in 55-, 65- and 75-inch versions. He works under the control of the Tizen system, but also works with Apple solutions with AirPlay 2 at the forefront.
Samsung The Terrace - technical data shows that it is one of the top QLEDs in a special setting.
The TV is dust and water resistant (at IP55 level), as well as its remote control and an additional soundbar that can be purchased. It works not only during the evening barbecue, but also on a sunny day - it is able to emit an image with a peak brightness of up to 2000 rivets. Additionally, it is covered with an anti-reflective coating, thanks to which it reflects a small amount of solar glare.
It should also provide a very good contrast thanks to the Direct Full Array 16X blanking mechanism, and the coating of nanocrystals (Quantum dot) should ensure great color reproduction. It will also be very well suited to sports broadcasts thanks to its 240-hertz matrix. Game fans will enjoy dynamic contrast adjustment and very low input lag.
Unfortunately, the TV set will only be available on the American and Canadian market for now. Fortunately, it will be coming to Europe later this year. For now, however, we must provide American prices, and they are 3.5 thousand. dollars. (55 inches), 5,000 dollars. (65 inches) and 6.5 thousand dollars. (75 inches).
