Huawei is slowly realizing the consequences of the US sanctions on the sales of its smartphones outside of China. The manufacturer is under a lot of pressure in Europe.
Since the sanctions against Huawei were imposed last May, sales of Huawei smartphones have been steadily declining. In the meantime one can say that in Europe one has lost touch.
The competition from other Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo is growing. However, since Huawei can no longer sell new devices with Google Mobile Services, it is falling behind more and more.
Xiaomi in particular is growing enormously in Europe, of course at the expense of Huawei. And it will be even more difficult with the new sanctions. Meanwhile, Huawei has to think about how they can still manufacture their processors.
Because here the USA has now put a stop to it. And that could mean in the course of the year that the smartphone production at Huawei then no longer makes any real sense.
Unfortunately, there are no exact numbers, even if Huawei always stresses that they will continue to fight. But you just notice that the customer's focus is no longer on Huawei, at least not in Europe.
