HTC: New flagship to be launched in July

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has not had the best of times in recent years. The company has lost a lot of money and seems to be running out of ideas. But now the new flagship is announced.

A few weeks ago, the company released its April financial results. Once again there is nothing to celebrate, unfortunately. Indeed, the latest data confirm the fact that the Taiwanese manufacturer is still in deep crisis.

According to recent reports , HTC will return to the flagship smartphone market after a long hiatus. And that is about time, two years have passed since the last flagship.

According to media sources, HTC's first 5G mobile phone will be launched in July 2020. This smartphone will first appear in its home country of Taiwan. And if it is a success there, then the model should be published in other countries.

So far, however, there is not much information available on this smartphone. Nevertheless, there is wild speculation that this device will be delivered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SoC. Anything else would not be worthy of a flagship. Unfortunately, there are no further details about the model.

Let us hope that the HTC flagship will be a success again and that HTC can build on the old days. After all, they built the very first Android smartphone.
