Hospitals are bursting at the seams, health workers are full of work, and according to Bill Gates , we will wait 18 months for the vaccine . Not surprisingly, coronavirus tests are now being performed in various strange places.

In order to improve the detection of Covid-19 disease cases, mobile points have been created as part of the Research-Support campaign, which patients suspected of contracting Sars-Cov-2 can have for examination. Warsaw already has two.

The coronavirus test can now be done in the parking lot of Westfield Arkadia shopping center.

As in the case of other mobile testing points for human organisms for the presence of coronavirus by RT-PCR, also here we are dealing with a tent quickly deployed. Tests are performed here on the Drive & Go-Thru model. This means that you can arrive at your place by car and not leave it.

The tests are carried out using the real time RT-PCR method, CE-IVD certified tests, validated and in accordance with WHO recommendations. The research is carried out under the full approval of the State Poviat Sanitary Inspector in Warsaw - inform the creators of these points on diag.pl

The tents are built by the Diagnostics laboratory network. To get to the Westfield Arkadia shopping center located in the parking lot, you have to drive from the back of the building at al. Jana Pawła II 82. The point is located at level -2 in zone F. The swab can be taken from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:00.

How much do you have to pay for the Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus test?

Unfortunately, this is not a small amount. If someone has a need to get tested, they will have to drop 584 zlotys out of their pockets. The test must be paid for online - no cash or card payments are possible. The laboratory reports that one of its points is able to test up to 120 samples per day.

The highest sensitivity of SARS-CoV-2 testing by real time RT-PCR is obtained the day after the onset of clinical symptoms or 7-9 days after potential infection. The material for SARS CoV-2 is taken from the patient's respiratory tract - we read further on diag.pl

Importantly, the examination fee does not apply to healthcare professionals. Diagnostics will not be money from them. This will allow doctors, nurses, etc. to test for coronavirus for free. To do this, they only need to show the laboratory employees a document confirming the right to practice.

How to prepare for testing for the virus that causes Covid-19 ?

In order to test - after paying for the online service - you should report for a swab in the morning, after rinsing your mouth with water or about 3 hours after your last meal. In addition, according to the Diagnostics laboratory, "do not brush your teeth, use mouthwash, throat lozenges, and chewing gums before collecting the material."

It should also be remembered that if someone has used nasal antimicrobials, such as drops, ointments and sprays, they should wait at least 2 hours before the test. Do not rinse or blow your nose before taking the swab. The condition of taking the test is also removal of removable dentures.

Mobile coronavirus testing point - location

The mobile coronavirus test point in the parking lot of the Westfield Arkadia shopping center is not the first of its kind in Warsaw. Earlier, a similar tent appeared at the Ursynów district office, where 400 tests were carried out during the week.
