The Technology Behind Xbox Series X (Inside Xbox) [video]

There will be 2 new gaming consoles this year. Sony will launch the PlayStation 5 , Microsoft the new Xbox Series X.

A new video now shows the technology behind the upcoming Microsoft Xbox Series X. In a video, Jason Ronald, Xbox Series X's Director of Program Manage, explains the technology.

The Xbox Series X will be equipped with an 8-core processor that clocks at 3.8 GHz. The graphics chip has a computing power of 12 TFLOPs. The chips get 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM at the side.

The internal memory of a 1TB NVMe SSD can be doubled with a special 1 TB expansion card. External hard drives via USB 3.2 can also be used. The goal for most games is to display with 4K resolution at frame rates of 60 to 120 frames per second.
