Sony Xperia 5 II may be the smallest 5G smartphone yet

Earlier this year there were rumors of a large Sony Xperia 5 Plus , but it never came to anything. Now there are rumors about the Sony Xperia 5 II, the opposite.

While the displays of smartphones are getting bigger and bigger, Sony wants to go the other way again. Because the Sony Xperia 5 II should be equipped with a display that should be smaller than 6 ″.

According to insider sources , the model will be launched in Japan in the second half of this year.

The model is said to have a 5.6 - 5.8 ″ display and 5G connectivity on board. This should make it the smallest 5G smartphone to date.

The Sony Xperia 5 II would rank well between the Xperia 1 II and 10 II . Smaller than the premium flagship, more powerful than the mid-range model. But this has not yet been confirmed.
