Thanks to the LPDDR5 RAM, data transfer rates of up to 6,400 Mbit / s with a bandwidth of 51.2 GB / s should be possible according to Pete Lau. The memory also uses up to 45 percent less energy than LPDDR4 RAM.

The UFS 3.0 flash memory with data rates of around 1,700 MB / s should also ensure that the OnePlus 8 series will be one of the fastest smartphones. Thanks to "Turbo Write" and the "Host Performance Booster" (HPB), the read and write speed of various tasks is said to have been further improved.

OxygenOS has also continued to work hand in hand and further optimized the system. This is to ensure that everything runs even faster and smoother than OnePlus is used to.
