OnePlus 8 Pro: Greenish problem fixed secretly

OnePlus has secretly eliminated the green tint problem with its new flagship OnePlus 8 Pro. The OxygenOS 10.5.5 update has already fixed this problem.

Shortly after the release of the OnePlus 8 Pro, users reported a green tinge on their displays, similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. And also how the error appeared was identical. Apparently there were problems with the 120 Hz refresh rate.

However, now seems like the South Korean manufacturer also to belong to the past. Because the last update to OxygenOS has probably fixed the error again.

Although users of OnePlus 8 Pro find that they no longer see a green cast after the update, the changelog for the new version does not mention anything about the correction. OnePlus may have only distributed a partial fix with the update and an official update for it will come in the future.

If so, it would of course be great that OnePlus reacted to the problems so quickly.
