Is the new iPad Pro with a keyboard for PLN 1,500 too expensive? Logitech has something for you. For half the price you can buy a keyboard with a trackpad for cheaper iPads.
The dust after the premiere of the new iPad Pro has not fallen yet, and a new premiere has already appeared, which looks much more attractive in the eyes of a typical Kowalski or Smith.
Talking about the new Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case with Trackpad .
Logitech has created a keyboard with a trackpad for cheaper iPads.
The new Logitech keyboard is compatible with iPad Air and the new 10.2-inch (7th generation) base iPad. The equipment does not yet have a Polish price, but overseas it was priced at 149.95 dollars, which is exactly half the price of the new Apple keyboard.
What can Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case with Trackpad do? A lot. First of all, it is a case that protects the iPad from both sides. Secondly, it has a built-in island keyboard with key backlight. Third, it has a touchpad to operate the cursor.
As if that wasn't enough, the Logitech keyboard has a built-in stand associated with Microsoft devices from the Surface line. In addition, which is very convenient, the case has a built-in first-generation Apple Pencil holder, which does not have the magnetic connector known from Pencil 2. The holder will also hold a cheaper Logitech Crayon stylus.
Unfortunately, the keyboard will not be connected to iPads with 9.7-inch screens.
The new Logitech keyboard is not compatible with the 5th and 6th generation iPad, which is a pity. The reason is the lack of a Smart Connector port on these devices. This connector can be found in iPad Air (10.5 inches) and iPad 7 (10.2 inches).
The keyboard has no Bluetooth connectivity and there is also no built-in battery. However, the accessory weighs quite a lot, as much as 650 grams.
If you have an iPad 10.2, it's really worth considering buying it. Touchpad gestures seem to be a great extension of the iPad's capabilities. In addition, island keys promise to be better than the Apple Smart Keyboard case. We will not see a similar solution in the Apple offer, but it's great that Logitech took care of such an accessory.
