Lady Gaga with the music video recorded on the iPhone 11 Pro. This time you can believe it is an iPhone clip

iPhone 11 Pro was the only camera that created Lady Gaga's new music video. This is not the first such clip, but it is the most authentic of its kind so far.

iPhone 11 Pro has a fantastic camera offering a lot of possibilities in terms of filming, for which it is widely praised. The stabilization in the movies is quite amazing. We have come to the point where the sense of buying a camera for around PLN 2,000 is very debatable. I am of the opinion that this amount is now better spent on buying a better smartphone, especially if you are looking for a typically away camera, where the versatility and simplicity of use are what counts.

Is it possible to use the iPhone 11 Pro camera for professional applications?

Finally, the "Pro" in the name obliges. Daniel Askill shows that wanting means being able to. The director created a new music video for Lady Gaga exclusively using the iPhone 11 Pro. See what effect it has obtained.

This is the first clip of this type in which you can believe that the recording was made using the iPhone, without resorting to complicated tricks. Despite this, Apple openly admits that additional equipment was used during the recordings. Such an annotation can be found at the end of the movie posted on the Apple profile.

What additional elements did the creators use?

You can be sure about the gimbal. You can see very fast and smooth movements, which the stabilization of the iPhone would not be able to provide. In addition, Apple reveals that the Filmic Pro application was used, which should not be a surprise. This is the best smartphone recording application. It allows manual selection of exposure, as well as setting the frame and - what is even more important - the exposure time. In addition, the film was edited by professionals.

It is a pity that we did not see the behind-the-scenes video that would reveal a bit of the kitchen of this recording. The whole looks as if the filmmakers did not use additional lenses.

Will iPhone replace a professional camera?

Part of me is screaming that it will never happen. That music videos like the one above are just art for art's sake. An ad proving that it can be done. This does not mean that professional recording studios will abandon cameras in favor of smartphones.

On the other hand, seeing industry events, I see huge changes in the way I record. Hell of vloggers, who at the fair use a smartphone instead of a large tripod camera for convenience.

TV envoys give me food for thought. I have witnessed several times how a journalist recorded her statement with an iPhone on a tripod. The only accessory was an external microphone. Apparently, this is enough to broadcast such an entry on television as part of an information program.

And since such things are already happening, maybe smartphones are already one leg on the "pro" shelf? It happened faster than we could have imagined.
