The new smartphone Sony, or Xperia 1, goes to the first stores. We check how much the device costs in free sale and what prices have been prepared by the operators. We also look at pre-sales bonuses.

Xperia 1 is this year's top Sony smartphone. The device was first presented a few months ago at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. Later, we could admire a phenomenal screen with 21: 9 proportions during this year's edition of the Polish Electronics Show . Now is the time for its official premiere, which will take place in just over a week.

Sony Xperia 1 - prices

The new smartphone is another top model in the offer of the Japanese manufacturer. It is not surprising that the company priced it really high - although it did not reach the level of competition in the form of Apple or Samsung. The recommended price for the Xperia 1 phone is PLN 3999. So much will have to pay for the device on June 7, 2019, when it will officially go on sale.

Xperia 1 - Pre-sale bonus.

Those who decide to place a preorder for a Sony Xperia 1 smartphone will receive from the manufacturer a bonus in the form of Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones. You must pay PLN 4399 for the set. This is a really good promotion - this set costs in the free sale about PLN 1300-1400; its price in the Sony store is PLN 1,999.

According to the producer, "the promotion runs from May 31 to June 7, 2019 or while stocks last". Sony recommends purchasing the Xperia 1 smartphone with Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones in the Media Expert store or in the Sony Mobile Official Store operated on the Allegro.pl platform by M-point. Alternatively in Sony Center stores or online store .

Xperia 1 for subscription on the Play network

The new top Sony smartphone can be purchased not only for cash in the store, but also for operators. Payment is then spread over installments that are paid with the subscription. We already know the offer of the Play network, where Sony Xperia 1 can be purchased, among others within the Solo offer for one person.

People who will want to sign a new contract will pay for the Solo L subscription in the basic variant PLN 210 per month. You need to pay PLN 159 for the start device. The total cost of the contract is therefore PLN 5,199. As part of the subscription, customers receive:

  • 30 GB of internet at full speed;
  • unlimited calls, SMSs and MMSs;
  • the basic Play Now package;
  • Tidal for half a year for free.

There are also other variants of this offer - you can buy a subscription for, for example, 70 PLN per month and pay for the device for a start of 3149 PLN. In this case, the contract is a cost of PLN 4829. Xperia 1 without a Play subscription costs as much as in the store - PLN 3,999. It is possible to buy in installments: 10x 399.90 PLN.

In the case of family offers and when extending the existing contract, you can count on additional discounts. But be careful! The premiere of the new Sony device is scheduled for June 7, but in the case of the Play network, the shipment of Xperia 1 smartphones will not start until June 12, 2019.

Xperia 1 for subscription on the Plus network

The Plus network website does not yet have a Xperia 1 smartphone, but the price list for this operator has been shared by the GSM Online service. The new top Sony smartphone is to be available in Plus.40, Plus.50 and Plus.60 subscriptions. Within them, clients receive no-limits services and internet packages of varying sizes.

In the case of a two-year contract, in the Plus.50 and Plus.60 subscriptions, you need to pay PLN 399 for a start for the phone. The installment is PLN 150. Thus, the contract price is PLN 5,199 and PLN 5,439, respectively. In the case of the Plus.40 subscription, the start fee is PLN 998.98, and the installment is PLN 83, so the total cost is PLN 495.98.

Xperia 1 for subscription to the T-Mobile network

T-Mobile also did not place the Xperia 1 smartphone on its website, but prices in this network appeared thanks to the GSM Maniak service. Xperia 1 will be available in the No Limit subscription for 2 years in many different configurations:

  • PLN 180 per month, PLN 829 for takeoff - PLN 5149 in total;
  • PLN 160 per month, PLN 1129 for takeoff - PLN 4969 in total;
  • PLN 140 per month, PLN 1439 for takeoff - PLN 4799 in total;
  • PLN 130 per month, PLN 1589 for takeoff - PLN 4,709 in total;
  • PLN 120 per month, PLN 1749 for takeoff - PLN 4629 in total;
  • PLN 110 per month, PLN 1879 for takeoff - PLN 4519 in total;
  • PLN 100 per month, PLN 2079 for takeoff - PLN 4,479 in total;
  • PLN 90 per month, PLN 2239 for takeoff - PLN 4399 in total;
  • 80 zlotys per month, 2469 zlotys for takeoff - 4389 zlotys in total;
  • PLN 70 per month, PLN 2619 for takeoff - PLN 4299 in total;
  • 60 PLN per month, 2899 PLN for start - 4399 PLN in total.

In addition, the device can be purchased in the T-Mobile T2 5 GB tariff for 60 PLN per month for the price of 2679 PLN, and then the entire contract cost is 4119 PLN. This is not much more than the retail price of a new Sony telephone set at PLN 3,999.

The last option is PLN 2779 for the start of the subscription T-Mobile T1 2 GB for PLN 50 per month - that's a total of PLN 3,979 at the market price of the Xperia 1 phone at PLN 3,999. This means that in this case the operator adds the SIM card with the services for free.
