The cloud has changed the way we live for good. To celebrate this, we have for you a unique photographic contest #MiastoWChmurze, in which you can win a fantastic Microsoft computer - Surface Pro 6 .
UPDATE 30/04/19 - Thank you for participating in the competition! Below you will find the list of winners.
Each of us has to deal with cloud every day - and I am not talking about cumulus floating in the sky. Maybe you do not even know about it. Maybe you do not feel it at all. But the cloud is with you. Every day. It's a bit like Power in the Star Wars saga. Or like your shadow. It is estimated that 90 percent. Network users are now using the cloud.
When you update Windows 10 - you use the cloud. When you listen to your favorite music on the streaming site - you use the cloud. When you use a virtual translator to find out what a word means in a foreign language - you use a cloud. When you write a blog on the Web, such as Spider's Web - you use a cloud. Even if you enter the "12 + 4" search bar - you use the cloud, which is the computing power and data stores not your own computer, but the servers of the service provider.
Without a cloud, nothing would be the same.
Today, a cloudless world would be a return to the pixel era. Does anyone even imagine, for example, the need to buy a CD to install a program or a new version of the operating system? Exactly.
Thanks to data stores, such as OneDrive, which you probably associate as one of the Office 365 applications, we can always and everywhere have the most important documents or files. Thanks to the services of automatic recording of photos from a smartphone in the cloud, we always have access to immortalized memories, without having to remember about the medium on which they were saved.
The cloud has also changed the way we work for good. Holding on to the field of journalism - once the text had to go a long way on the physical carrier; piece of paper, floppy disk, pendrive. He had to get from the desk of the journalist, to the desk of the editor, through the desk of the concealer, to return to the journalist's desk. And so to the effect. Today? Today, we share a file in Office 365 and we can work together in real time, make corrections, suggest changes in comments.
Everything takes place in the cloud. Therefore, to celebrate this, we have a competition for you - this time with the real clouds, white clusters of cotton candy in the sky.
#MiastoWChmurze - show us the world seen from the clouds.
The competition rules are simple: to take a share, you need to take a picture from the clouds, not from the level of the pavement.
You can do it in two ways. The first one is a drone photograph - if you are a pilot of a flying camera, take a picture from the air.
As in Poland (and in other countries the more) strict law is in force defining the use of drone in urban space, we encourage you to take pictures rather away from skyscrapers, for example, presenting the landscape against the setting sun:
If you do not have a drone - nothing is lost. The second way to take part in the competition is to take a picture from a height. Enter the top floor of the skyscraper. Find a vantage point that will show the city from a "cloudy" perspective. There are plenty of possibilities.
You do not have to live in a large agglomeration to take part in the competition - even if you live in a small town or village, you can show how your surroundings are seen from above.
UPDATE 30/04/19 - WE HAVE THE RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION
