So the rumors turned out to be true . From the stage Steve Jobs Theater Tim Cook has just announced a new quality in the world of payment cards. Here's the Apple Card.

Apple Card is a virtual payment card created in cooperation with Goldman Sachs and MasterCard, which can be assigned to an Apple Pay account. You can start it right away, without waiting for the bank's decision and always have it with you on your iPhone. From the technical side, it works on an almost identical principle as existing tokens (virtual cards), which we store, for example, in Google Pay.

Apple, however, boasts that their solution is safer and stored only on the device, not on Apple's servers. So we have to feel not only protected from advertisers or just cheaters, but also from Apple itself.

Apple's card can also be ordered as a physical card, but not made of plastic, but ... of titanium. However, we will not find the classic payment card design - there is no validity date, signature, number or CVV code.

However, this is not the most important thing.

Apple Card is not only a card, but also an application for managing personal finances.

Using Apple Card, we collect information about all financial habits and places we shop in within Apple Pay (including their Apple Maps locations).

Using machine learning, Apple Card automatically recognizes and signs the type of expenditure, as well as arranges expenses in the form of a transparent chart - more or less as most banking applications available in Poland do.

Apple Card is also integrated with cashback programs. Apple calls it "Daily Cash" - each day we can receive up to 3 percent. return in the Apple store, 2 percent using Apple Pay and 1 percent. using a titanium physical card, paid the same day to your account.

David Ramsey probably just got a heart attack, but Apple advertises Apple Card as a "financially sound" credit card. By "healthy" understands transparent interest rates and the lack of hidden fees, as well as the lack of automatically imposed penalties, for example for failure to meet the repayment date. Inside the application you can also see when and how much we have to pay.

Apple Card will work all over the world. But we will not place it everywhere.

As the Apple Card is integrated with Apple's wallet, you can use it where Apple Pay is available, and in the case of a titanium card - just anywhere.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to create such a card. Until now, the Apple Card will be available only in the United States, and there has been no announcement from the stage to extend its availability.
