Apple News + is a subscription service available exclusively on English-speaking markets. In our country, however, it is still not possible to use Apple News in the usual version, not to mention the planned subscription for magazines.

iOS 12.2 introduces support for AirPlay 2 in televisions.

A very important change in iOS 12.2 is support for AirPlay 2 in TVs from Apple's partners . The manufacturer of mobile devices with iOS is ready to send multimedia content directly to TVs, but ... we have to wait anyway. First, new TVs must be available for sale and those previously issued receive an update.

As part of iOS 12.2, a new dedicated button appeared in the control center and on the locked screen, it's easy to control the TV. Importantly, while watching video via AirPlay on your TV, you can still use your mobile device.

What else introduces iOS 12.2?

Among the novelties, the company from Cupertino lists four new Animoji, which will be able to use users of smartphones iPhone X and newer and tablets of the 3rd generation iPad Pro from 2018. They are owl, boar, giraffe and shark.

In the Pre-screen time function, you can configure how much you want to use the device for each day separately. The new switch allows you to simply set up temporary limits yourself.

In the case of Apple Pay, the changes will affect the most US users who can use Apple Pay Cash. From now on, they can transfer funds to their bank accounts using debit cards.

In addition, the Wallet app will display not only charges, but also the recognition of an Apple Pay account.

  • Removes a problem with not displaying some missed calls in the notification center.
