The possibilities of borrowing money from each other are much more than 10 years ago. Cash is no longer the only option. PayPal decided to check how new opportunities affect money lending.
Above all, it turned out that we are more willing to lend money to others than we make financial commitments to our family and friends. The average Pole is able to borrow close to 250 to 450 zlotys a year. At that time, he himself is indebted for an amount not exceeding PLN 50.
Good family habits do not borrow.
Although we try to borrow as little as possible from family and friends, we still have a problem with the return of money. Most often, we acknowledge that with the intimations that connect us, the repayment is no longer as obligatory as it may seem. Family and friends are the groups most often asking for financial help indicated by Poles.
The research commissioned by PayPal shows that the problem with giving up the closest is in the case of the smallest amounts up to PLN 50 and with definitely higher sums - exceeding PLN 4,500. zł.
