If you think you've never been to news.google.com and you do not have apps on your phone , so you never used Google's news service - you're seriously wrong. She is practically everywhere. Appears on Google search results, attacks from Google Assistant and Chrome browser. It is not possible today to use Google News in its various forms.

This is a good service in my opinion. I even think that many blogs or websites that Axel Springer is not behind would not be able to act seriously on the media market without this service today - yes, I mean Spider's Web, Illegitator, NaTemat, Entry and many similar websites . Thanks to Google, our most interesting articles promoted by the news service algorithms are able to send readers to Wirtualna Polska or Rzeczpospolita, who often had no idea before about our existence.

I think that Google News is from several up to several dozen percent of the traffic of any website that appears in this service. By the way, I do not know what it looked like in the case of the Gazeta.pl website, but we ate it on Bezprawnik for a very long time to be included in this group of publishers. And finally it worked. I think that regardless of whether we are Spider's Web, a blog read by 20,000 people or Interia - everyone in Poland wants to be in Google News. Because it's a movement, it's readers, a thing for the holiest websites.

However, there are hypocrites. It's the media that they do not want to share with the media cake with people behind whom there is not a great Polish or German publishing house. Who now hear that a well-known bank prefers to advertise on Niepódnik, because it has a precisely defined reader and CTRs around 1 per cent, instead of a moloch that reaches millions of nearer and under-defined Poles.

Yes, I personally guard such a mini conspiracy theory that one of the arguments for pushing the so-called ACTA 2 and Article 11, is an attempt to erect websites that are not targeted by traffic from large portals, and which have built their position from scratch, also thanks to good optimization for the search engine and its services.

The arguments raised by large media empires about respect for the work of journalists are not true. It is said that Google makes money from their work, but it is not true - not Google News. They claim that people see the headlines in Google News and therefore do not enter, for example, Onet.pl - another crap that even my great-grandmother does not believe, even though she has never been on the internet. Google makes money on the work of these journalists, yes, but thanks to Google AdSense, the Google advertising system. Big portals admit Google's advertising maniacs stubbornly to his website, then give the giant a huge commission, but ... they still do it.

In turn, there is no cause-and-effect reason to be angry with Google News. Let's make an example. You earn 2,000 zlotys a month and someone gives you 500 zlotys. Your neighbor earns 20,000 zlotys a month and that person gives him 5,000 zlotys. And this someone one day kills his generous donor, because he realized that for 2,500 zlotys you are able to support yourself quite well, dress up and give him the coolest girlfriends.

ACTA 2 is so ridiculous that it has been temporarily bruised, among others by the Polish government, but will soon return - equally dangerous.

Ie. so for accuracy he does not kill him, and "gives him an offer he can not refuse", as a result the donor leaves. This is what is happening.

Google is very blunt to say that in the context of irrational ideas, do not close the entire Google News service at all, if it does not have money, and they will still have to pay extra money for it. In my opinion - I hope - it is such a catwalk that the lobbyists from large media groups will come to their senses. In Germany many years ago they failed. They forced Article 11 into their private market, Google stopped indexing them in News and returned to their knees. They are now looking to win at the European level.

Of course, from this place, I grant Google News licenses to continue using the content of Lawlessness in an unchanged way, regardless of how the fate of European legislation will go. I also believe that without a moment of thinking about the appropriate license for all websites focused on Spider's Web, Google Przemek Pająk. And Tomasz Lis. And Krzysztof Stanowski. And many others, even the Abstra Group , which actively opposes another stupidity, which is Article 13 .

So, Google, on behalf of the media publishers on the internet, I appeal for stopping News for volunteers. I assure and declare willingness to cooperate from this place. I also hope that if the model that I suggest is accepted, we will not see more in the Onet, Gazeta Prawna or Bankier.pl text service, who are very loudly demanding "appreciating their work" by imposing additional financial benefits for driving readers . Otherwise you would be hypocrites.
